This Privacy Policy explains how RIYO EXCHANGE (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile applications, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Phone number (account login and verification via SMS OTP)
Display name (resolved from mobile-money provider when available)
Public user ID and account status
Transaction history (deposits, withdrawals, amounts, providers, references)
Device and app information (model, app version, approximate location used for fraud prevention)
Push notification tokens (if you allow notifications)
Support messages you send us

2. How we use information

To create and secure your account
To process deposits and withdrawals
To prevent fraud and abuse
To send service notices (OTP, transaction status, important alerts)
To improve reliability and customer support

3. Sharing

We share data only as needed with:

Payment / mobile-money partners to complete your request
Cloud infrastructure providers that host our backend (e.g. Firebase / Google Cloud)
Authorities when required by law

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Age (18+)

The Service is intended only for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor registered, contact support@riyo.so so we can remove the account.

5. Retention

We keep account and transaction records as long as needed for operations, dispute handling, and legal requirements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, server-side verification, access controls). No method is 100% secure; please protect your password and device.

7. Your choices

You may request account information or deletion by contacting support@riyo.so or via our Delete Account page. Some records may be retained where required by law or fraud prevention.

8. Permissions

Camera / photos: optional, for payment proof uploads
Location: used to help secure transactions
Notifications: optional alerts about your account

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective date” will change when we do.
